Classic Facelift (Full Face)

What is done in a classic facelift

In the classical facelift the total skin of face and neck is thightened. Sagging cheeks are lifted, the wrinkles of the neck are removed the skin smoothed . The goal is to create a rejuvenated and fresh appearence. Your face should not look lifted.Tell us what bothers you and we will find a way for improvement.

The operation

Fine incisions are placed in front of the ear and around it into the hairline.For the neck often an additional incision under the chin is needed. The skin of the face and neck is freed and then thightened.

To support and enhance the thightning effect on the skin a connective tissue layer the so called SMAS ( superficial muscular aponeurotic system ) is dissected and then thightened. This is a great procedure to correct sagging cheeks and improove the nasolabial fold. In spite of that it does not create a masklike look.

The operation is performed under general anaesthesia and lasts 3 to 4 hours. Exspect to stay in the clinic for 1 or 2 days

What to regard before the operation

2 weeks prior and one week after the operation dont take any medication that integrates acetylacid ( aspirin ) because it affects the coagulation of your blood. As far as possible avoid smoking alcohol and sleeping pills. If you have any questions or need more information, don`t hasitate, ask us.

How to behave after the operation

Be prepared to wear a bandage for up to 3 days. There is a check up the day following the operation. Stiches are removed after 10 day.You can wash your hair after 3 days.

You can reappear in public after 1 week and should be back to work after 2 to 3 weeks, depending on your profession.

Midfacelift

What is done during a midfacelift

During a midfacelift the lineaments in the area of the cheek are thightened and significantly rejuvenated. Beside removal of wrinkles by thightening the skin it is possible to remodel your cheeks .

The operation

Through a fine incision below the lashes of the lower lid first the skin and if necessary also the midface muscles are freed and elevated . In the second part of the procedure they are lifted and repositioned .Excess scin is removed, the tissue thightened. Fattissue of the cheek that has slighted down can be put back in place. Sometimes an additional incision in front of the ear has to be made in order to enhance the effect of rejuvination.

The operation is done under general anaesthesia and lasts approximatly 2 hours. It can be performed as out patient or over night on request.

Stirnlift

Was wird bei einem Stirnlift gemacht?

Bei einem Stirnlifting wird die Gesichtshaut im Stirnbereich gestrafft, die Augenbrauen werden dadurch angehoben und die sogenannte Zornesfalte zwischen den Augenbrauen bzw. die Querfalte der Stirn geglättet. Das Gesicht wirkt dann deutlich jünger und freundlicher.

Wie wird das Stirnlift durchgeführt?

Ein Stirnlifting wird zumeist endoskopisch durchgeführt, d.h. durch kleine Schnitte im Stirnhaarbereich (Haaransatz) werden feinste chirurgische Instrumente eingeführt. Diese lösen die Stirnhaut ab. Anschließend wird die gelöste Haut nach oben gestrafft und fixiert.

Die Operation wird unter Vollnarkose durchgeführt und dauert ca. 2 Stunden. Ein Klinikaufenthalt ist auf Wunsch möglich, aber nicht erforderlich.

Was ist vor dem Stirnlift zu beachten?

Für einen Zeitraum von ca. 14 Tagen vor der Operation sollten Sie auf Medikamente verzichten, die Acetylsalicylsäure enthalten (z.B. Aspirin, ASS, etc.), da durch diese die Blutgerinnung beeinträchtigt wird. Des weiteren sollten Sie auch Alkohol, Zigaretten und Schlafmittel weitgehend vermeiden. Was ist vor dem Stirnlift zu beachten?

Nach der Operation sollten Sie sich darauf einstellen, für ca. 3 Tage einen Kopfverband zu tragen. Am Tag nach der Operation erfolgt eine Nachkontrolle, nach 1 Woche können die Fäden gezogen werden.

Spätestens eine Woche nach der Operation ist Ihre volle Arbeitsfähigkeit wieder hergestellt, mit Sport können Sie wieder nach 3 Wochen langsam beginnen.

Minilift

Was wird bei einem Minilift gemacht?

Bei einem Minifacelift werden kleine Bereiche des Gesichts gestrafft und somit die Falten geglättet. Diese Liftingmethode ist nur dann empfehlenswert, wenn keine großen Hauterschlaffungen vorliegen d.h. keine umfangreiche Straffung notwendig ist.

Wie wird das Minilift durchgeführt?

Durch eine feinste Schnittführung vor dem Ohr wird zunächst die Gesichtshaut im Wangenbereich abgelöst und anschließend gestrafft.

Die Operation wird, je nach Gegebenheit, unter Lokalanästhesie oder Vollnarkose durchgeführt und dauert ca. 1 bis 2 Stunden. Ein Klinikaufenthalt ist hierbei nicht erforderlich.
