The operation

The operation is done under general anaesthesia and lasts ca. 2-3 hours.A night in the clinic is normally not necessary but possible on request. A breastlift can be performed after the age of 16.

What to regard before the operation

2 weeks prior and one week after the operation dont take any medication that integrates acetylacid ( aspirin ) because it affects the coagulation of your blood. As far as possible avoid smoking alcohol and sleeping pills. If you have any questions or need more information, don`t hasitate, ask us.

How to behave after the operation

One day after the operation there is a short checkup. The second day you may have a shower. The stiches are removed after two to three weeks or are selvresolving.

Breastenlargement (Augmentation)

What is done during an augmentation ?

To create the size and shape of the breast that maches your individual aesthetic ideas implants are used .

At PHOENIX-AESTHETIC private clinic we use Silicon-, Hydrogel-, or Saline implants.However our preference is silikon. Siliconimplants consist out of a synthetic envelope filled with silicon gel. Its advantage is a good natural form , that gives your breast a very natural look. Silicon in the past has been blamed for many complications in the US and has been prohibited by FDA. Meanwhile more than 10 000 scientific researches world wide have been published . None of them could proove what silicon has been blaimed for. Meanwhile Silicone is on the reapproval list of the FDA. For those who don`t want silicon hydrogel is an alternate. The envelope is silicon as well filled with a sugargel. In case of leaking its resorbed and excreted via kidney.

Saline implants are also an envelope made from silicon filled with saline solution..The disadvantage is, it looses often its volume and the shape is more unnatural.

Depending on your personal aesthetic visions and the way your normal breast appears, we will find during the first consultation together with you the ideal size and type of implant. We will also discuss with you the position of the incision and if to put the implant before or under the muscle.
